The Urban Bat Project is the research group of the Birmingham and Black Country Bat Group. Since 2017, we have been working with local land managers and universities to design and deliver research projects, train and provide field experience early career ecologists, and find out more about urban bats, how they are doing, how they move through the landscape, and what we can do to help conserve them. We publish our findings in peer-reviewed and industry journals, and deliver talks and workshops at regional, national and international conferences!
